We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks essential to the smooth operation of our Logistics facility. Your duties will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy. A commitment to Safety and efficiency is paramount. Key responsibilities include:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick items accurately based on customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage outgoing orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all Safety rules.
- Operate manual equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory counts and support stock management.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team. Prior warehouse experience is a plus. This role involves physical demands, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and walking throughout the warehouse.
