Seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in San Antonio, Texas! This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for picking items from designated locations, verifying product details, and carefully packing them to ensure they arrive safely. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order forms for accuracy in item and quantity.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for shipping and assist with loading trucks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety compliance.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to using PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse flow.
