About the Role
We are looking for a Product Engineer with a strong background in logistics software to bridge the gap between customer needs, technical implementation, and product design. This role sits at the intersection of systems engineering, systems thinking, and UX/UI design, with a focus on transportation and warehouse workflows.
You will work closely with R&D scientists and engineers, customers, and developers to translate real operational problems into clear, usable, and scalable product designs, and deliver workflows and prototypes that can be efficiently moved into development.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze customer requirements across transportation and warehouse operations
- Translate operational needs into meaningful product solutions, user journeys, and system workflows in coherence with the current ecosystem
- Design end-to-end UI/UX flows for logistics applications (TMS, WMS, integrations, dashboards, etc.)
- Produce high-fidelity prototypes using:
►Code-based approaches (HTML/CSS/JS or similar), and/or
►No-code/low-code tools (e.g., Figma)
- Collaborate with R&D and development teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and implementation-ready
- Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback and real user behavior
- Ensure usability, consistency, and scalability across the product
- Document design decisions and workflows clearly for cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (STEM)
- Background in logistics, with experience in:
►Transportation systems (carriers, shipping, routing, rating, tracking), and
►Warehouse operations (inventory, fulfillment, picking, receiving)
- Proven experience delivering UI/UX workflows and prototypes
- Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and system constraints in logistics software
- Ability to design using code (HTML/CSS/JS or similar) and/or no-code tools such as Figma
- Strong ability to translate customer requirements into functional product designs
- Clear communication skills and a strong sense of ownership
Nice to Have
- Experience with logistics SaaS platforms (TMS, WMS, ERP integrations)
- Experience working in remote, cross-functional teams
- Understanding of agile workflows, usability testing and design iterations
