Responsibilities
Producing and scheduling posts for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X
Creating short‑form videos and graphics tailored to gaming audiences
Interacting with followers and fostering engagement
Tracking performance metrics and helping improve campaigns
Keeping up with gaming trends and social media best practices, evaluating brand requirements and brand guidelines
Preparing a mood board or other visual aid for the content to be created
Presenting ideas, pitches and proposals for creative content to be further developed
Storyboarding and outlining scripts for content development
Interpreting data, considering its integrity, and using it to inform content
Developing accessible written content for different platforms and devices
Applying best practice and inclusive language when creating content
Writing and editing copy or scripts for use on different channels and platforms
Creating or capturing visuals and audio using standard packages and equipment
Obtaining and preparing media assets for use, using industry‑standard packages to adapt and edit content
Using industry‑standard tools and content management systems to organise, structure and label content effectively, methodically and securely for efficient search and retrieval
Identifying and recommending the platform(s) or channel(s) to use for the media campaign
Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers, establishing and using professional contacts
Engaging and responding with audiences through social media, adapting content to respond to evolving circumstances
Monitoring user experience to ensure content is focused on maximising engagement
Analyysing the differences between audiences using audience segmentation techniques and data
Using lessons learned to evaluate the success of the content and identify areas for improvement for future campaigns
Planning continuing professional development to support current and future training and development needs
Operating effectively within the production workflow to meet production timelines
Interpreting the aims of the brief
Researching ideas and concepts to meet the brief

Wage £14,918.80 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age. National Minimum Wage rate for apprentices.
