Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Representative role based in Edmonton, AB. The Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and developing leads, building strong client relationships, and managing contracts to grow the business. Daily responsibilities include attending client meetings, responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, negotiating sales agreements, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities. The role requires achieving sales targets while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Promote Lubana Trucking's
asset-based fleet, specialized deck freight, and cross-border expertise - Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
- Negotiate freight rates that align with company margins and service standards.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer communications, and revenue tracking.
- Experience in sales strategy, relationship building, and customer service
- Proficiency in time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of the transportation industry, logistics, or heavy equipment shipping is a plus
- Competency in CRM software and basic computer tools such as Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, marketing, or logistics is an asset
- Identify, pursue, and secure
new direct shippers and manufacturers
through cold calling, referrals, networking, and industry events. - Represent Lubana Trucking professionally and in compliance with company policies.
