Veterinary Assistant

The Animal Care Clinic is a veterinary clinic serving small animals in Brampton. We are a practice that utilize all of our team to their fullest potential to provide the best possible client and patient experience.

We are a multi-doctor animal hospital looking for a dynamic individual who believes in the importance of exceptional customer service and patient care and enjoys working in a busy, team-oriented environment. Qualified candidates must possess: strong communication skills, excellent client service skills, the ability to multitask, problem solve, and work efficiently under minimal supervision. The responsibilities of our Veterinary Assistants involve (but are not restricted to) the following: patient care and animal restraint; cleaning of the facility, laundry; handling of lab samples; communicating with veterinarians, RVTs and clients; observing and documenting medical information as it relates to patient care; and answering the telephone, booking appointments and fielding client inquiries. Your working schedule will be 35-40 hours per week and would involve hours from 8a-8p. Veterinary Assistant Certificate and/or previous experience is preferred. Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
