Packaging Worker

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packager to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing products for shipment by carefully packaging items according to company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments, possess mechanical aptitude, and be comfortable working with hand tools and assembly processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in packaging, assembly, and warehouse operations within a dynamic production setting.

Duties

• Package finished products accurately and efficiently, ensuring quality standards are met
• Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment to assemble or prepare items for packaging
• Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials as needed
• Inspect products for defects or damages before packaging
• Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping or storage
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with inventory counts and documentation as required
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times during packaging operations

Experience

• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments preferred
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary
• Knowledge of assembly processes and packaging techniques is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge and experience using hand tools are beneficial
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn new skills is essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 per year
