Commercial Cleaner (day shift)

The cleaning crew at Craigleith Ski Club in an integral part of the team and is responsible for maintaining a space we can all be proud of. Responsibilities include cleaning all areas of the Ski Club, including all public spaces, administrative offices, and restrooms.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• General lodge cleaning and disinfecting of office spaces, public spaces and restrooms including vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting, cleaning windows etc.
• Emptying and disposing of waste in bins
• Bussing of tables
• Using various cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Some lifting of tables and chairs will be required
• Perform all tasks safely in accordance with the Club's health & safety policies and always abide by Club policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience considered an asset
• Driver's license or reliable transportation required (public transit does not come to the club)
• Perform all tasks safely in accordance with health and safety policies
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding activities e.g., vacuuming, lifting, furniture moving, up and down stairs, standing for long periods of time
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities
• Must be available weekends & holiday's

Job Types: Fulltime, Part time, Seasonal Contract

Contract length: Approximately 4 months

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

• 8-hour shift with additional hours and flexibility as needed
• Daytime shifts, typically Wednesday to Sunday
• Holidays and weekends required
