Bartender/Key Holder

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs, educating them about various strains and products, and ensuring a welcoming and informative shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection based on individual needs and preferences.
• Educate customers about different cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized display of products, ensuring proper merchandising standards are met.
• Manage inventory levels, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and upselling products when appropriate.
• Adhere to all compliance regulations related to the sale of cannabis products.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel for inventory management.
• Ability to operate computers and POS systems effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hospitality or leadership roles is advantageous.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required for product stocking and inventory management.
