We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee our operations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This leadership role requires a blend of organizational prowess, operational knowledge, and strong team management abilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods, managing inventory, coordinating staff, and maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment. This position is critical to our logistics network, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety, and expect all personnel to utilize proper PPE and follow established safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all staff adhere to safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for material handling, safety, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain equipment and facilities, arranging for necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to logistics and warehouse management.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and track warehouse supplies and operational consumables.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator, Supervisor, or similar management role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including experience with PPE requirements.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Problem-solving skills and a results-oriented approach.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
