Key responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management tasks. - Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
- Transport inventory within the warehouse as directed.
- Perform routine checks on forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Valid forklift operator certification required. Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting. Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 lbs. Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures. Excellent attention to detail and spatial reasoning skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Must be reliable and punctual. Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE is mandatory.
