Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas of the warehouse.
- Fulfill orders by accurately picking items based on order lists or scanner data.
- Package products safely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Ensure the work area remains clean, orderly, and safe.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the consistent use of PPE.
- Follow all company policies and procedures relevant to warehouse operations.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve productivity targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial but not required.
- Capability to perform physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and warehouse practices.
- A strong commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to remain active, standing and walking, for the duration of the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Dependability and punctuality are essential.
