Are you a proven leader with a passion for logistics and warehouse operations? Our Jacksonville, Florida facility is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. You will be instrumental in driving performance, managing resources, and ensuring the overall success of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff on daily tasks and operational procedures.
- Coordinate and assign daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and proper stock rotation.
- Oversee the receiving and shipping processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all orders.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Conduct regular safety audits and provide ongoing safety training to the team.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure optimal performance of warehouse machinery.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency in logistics.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on warehouse performance.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety, including proper PPE usage.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
