We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring timely dispatch and customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing hand-held scanners and following specific picking instructions. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment setting is a plus. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Your commitment to safety and efficiency will directly impact our overall productivity. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders according to item number and quantity.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Scan items using a hand-held device to ensure accuracy and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Meet daily picking quotas and performance standards.
- Inspect picked items for damage before placing them in designated staging areas.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as required.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs.
