*Position:* RN Unit Manager
*Location:* Uniondale, NY
*Shift:* Full Time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
*Pay Rate:* $55 per hour - Sign-On Bonus
*About the Role*
Townhouse Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated *RN Unit Manager* to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care. The ideal candidate is an experienced, compassionate leader who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced skilled nursing environment.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead and oversee daily nursing unit operations, ensuring high-quality and person-centered care.
* Supervise, mentor, and evaluate CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, including conducting performance and competency assessments.
* Address clinical and administrative challenges to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
* Provide expert clinical oversight in medical, behavioral, and crisis management situations.
* Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to develop and achieve individualized resident care goals.
* Partner with the Director of Nursing to align unit objectives with overall facility goals.
* Communicate regularly with families and physicians regarding resident progress and updates.
* Conduct thorough resident assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation.
* Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations.
* Promote a positive, supportive environment for staff, residents, and families.
*Qualifications*
* *Active Registered Nurse (RN) license* in the State of New York (required).
* *Minimum 2 years of experience* in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
* *Prior leadership or RN management experience* strongly preferred.
* Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Sigma experience preferred.
