Seeking an energetic and reliable Order Picker to join our fulfillment center team in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. Your primary duties will involve using an order picking system to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for packaging and shipment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be an essential part of our logistics process, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Good physical stamina and a detail-oriented approach are crucial for success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelving.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Ensure the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of logistics operations within the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory systems.
