The Role As Design Manager, you will take ownership of the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, ensuring design solutions are coordinated, compliant, and buildable.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and coordinating the design process across multiple projects
Acting as the main point of contact between consultants, subcontractors, and project teams
Ensuring design programmes align with construction programmes
Identifying and resolving design risks and buildability issues
Maintaining design quality and technical compliance
About You
Proven experience as a Design Manager within commercial construction
Background in architecture or construction
Experience delivering projects from £1m to £30m
Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills
Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
