Job Description:
At Motor Controls, our electrical/mechanical assemblers assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to the customers specifications. This position may be physically challenging, requiring upper body strength and stamina.
Skills & Requirements:
- Review, analyze and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawings, procedures and/or instructions.
- Assemble metal enclosures to include all components specified to ready the panel for wiring
- Align, fit and assemble components using power tools, measuring tools, and hand tools to perform all associated tasks
- Document actions and products by completing required quality and production forms, both paper and electronic
- Anticipate supply level and order parts before they run out.
- Evaluate assembled structure for damages, incorrect design and/or setup, and suggest corrections or improvements
- Resolve any assembly problems by discussing issues, working with various department employees and suggesting solutions
- Must use electric and hand tools, such as saws, grinder, drill press, tap & die and others as needed
- Must be able to bend over metal boxes for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail and pride in work are critical
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Must be a team player and willing to perform tasks that may not be in any particular job description, take initiative when appropriate, and be open to constructive criticism.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Day - 6a.m. - 4:30p.m., Monday - Thursday
Pay Rate:
Starting at $19 per hour
