Technical Support Specialist

Matrix Software provides managed services and software solutions for the insurance industry. We are seeking a self motivated candidate to join our team of professionals in a casual environment as a Customer Support Technician. You will be a part of the team that provide the excellent service we are known for.

This is an in-person position, remote work is not available. Salary is commensurate with your experience.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• 2+ years' experience in IT technical support or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Active Directory and Windows Server management
• Office 365 administration

Other Helpful Experience

• Call Center experience
• IT/Networking experience
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree
• Amazon Web Services, or similar web host
• SQL Server, MySQL, relational database
• Ticketing System
• Insurance industry

Job Duties

• Install, configure, and upgrade Windows Server and PC software
• Serve as first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve client software issues
• Provision and deprovision access for new hires, changes in access, and terminations
• Execute the technical onboarding of new users
• Prepare procedural documentation, knowledge-based articles and user manuals
