Position Summary:

The Floating Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and support across multiple production areas or facilities as needed. This position floats between departments, shifts, or warehouses to ensure consistent operational performance, adherence to safety and quality standards, and achievement of production goals. The role serves as a key resource for covering supervisor absences, assisting with special projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production operations for formulation, blending, filling, and packaging lines as assigned.
• Provide leadership coverage during absences, vacations, or high-demand periods across various shifts or departments.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and internal environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
• Verify batch documentation, production records, and labeling to meet regulatory and company quality assurance requirements.
• Support implementation of standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safe chemical handling protocols.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to minimize downtime and resolve equipment or process issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture by leading toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safety observations.

Qualifications:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different teams, shifts, and processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office and manufacturing systems
• Willingness to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, or travel between sites as needed.
