Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations across manufacturing and residential environments. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance, with the ability to work independently or supervise maintenance activities as needed. The Maintenance Worker will play a vital role in supporting operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction through proactive maintenance and technical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding repairs and perform electrical work, including wiring and circuit troubleshooting.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to monitor and adjust equipment functions.
- Assist with residential painting projects as required for facility upkeep or client projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise or lead maintenance tasks during team projects or emergency repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Support manufacturing operations by maintaining production equipment and ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from internal teams or clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in welding, electrical systems, schematics reading, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and the use of Ohmmeters for diagnostics.
- Ability to perform residential painting and basic carpentry tasks as needed.
- Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within the maintenance team.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members.
- Experience with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is highly desirable.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
