• Handle cash transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and sales recording.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightlife or nightclub settings.
• Restock bar supplies proactively to ensure all ingredients and beverages are available during service hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by recognizing signs of intoxication and adhering to alcohol service laws.
• Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols.
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by engaging guests in conversation, creating an energetic environment that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with a strong understanding of food handling and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create memorable experiences.
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly without compromising quality.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing purposes.
• Experience with serving food during catering events or banquets is preferred.
• Familiarity with the food industry's best practices related to food handling, brewing processes (if applicable), and hospitality standards.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and manage guest expectations seamlessly.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by nightlife venues or event schedules.
