Assembly Operator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working within a fast-paced factory environment, assembling components and products with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with assembly line processes, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus, as well as forklift operation skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and grow within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components accurately on the production line according to specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment safely and effectively
• Use forklift or other warehouse equipment as needed to move materials within the facility
• Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure product standards are met
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and report any malfunctions or concerns to supervisors
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse environment preferred
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly line operations are highly desirable
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment required
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks as needed
