Manufacturing Engineer – Medical Device

We are seeking two Manufacturing Engineers to support a leading medical device manufacturer in Warsaw, IN. This position offers exposure to orthopedic implant manufacturing, CNC machining, and new product introduction (NPI) within a world-class engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Support NPI activities for new orthopedic implant products.
• Implement process changes, tooling, fixtures, work instructions, and automation improvements.
• Work within a CNC machining environment; CNC programming experience is highly preferred.
• Conduct capability studies and validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Production, and machining teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 0–5 years of experience (up to 7 years max). Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• Hands-on CNC machining experience required; CNC programming strongly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, 6S, FDA/ISO regulations, or statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, DOE, Cp/Cpk).
