Children's Dance Instructor

Long-Term Part-time position

We're seeking for enthusiastic dance instructors who are passionate about inspiring kids through dance. Enjoy flexible hours, a fun and supportive team while igniting a child's imagination through dance.We are not a typical brick & mortar dance studio; we are a mobile dance company which means we bring dance into schools. This service meets our dancers where they are and gives families more time together because they aren't driving all over town to get to class. Students love to go to dance class with their school friends and feel comfortable in the familiar space. Our vision is to instill confidence, positivity, and joy into the lives of children. It is not easy, but we work hard to make a difference

Tippi Toes East Bay is looking for versatile and flexible teaching artists who are open to a dance curriculum that already has set choreography provided. There is no choreography creation involved in this position.

Tippi Toes Dance Instructors always have wonderful, professional communication skills as well as a good sense of personal and professional boundaries. A successful Tippi Toes Dance Instructor is culturally sensitive when working with diverse populations. We do love when someone has experience working with youth

Location & Schedule for Dance Instructors at Tippi Toes East Bay:

Tippi Toes serves schools throughout East Bay

Compensation:

$24-$28 per class taught/$18 for all other duties

Qualifications To Be a Dance Instructors at Tippi Toes East Bay:

• Some performance background (dance, theatre, cheer, character work) is required
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Must have a current driver's license and access to a car
• Must be willing to go through a background check and fingerprinting

Ability to commute/relocate:

• You will be going to our partner schools in East Bay (Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Danville, Walnut Creek and surrounding areas) - We will work with you on the areas you're comfortable commuting to. Reliable transportation (Required).

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred but not required)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
