We are seeking a reliable and motivated Construction Laborer/Maintenance Worker to join our team. This part-time position plays a key role in supporting daily residential remodeling and property maintenance tasks, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and workload.
The ideal candidate will assist in a variety of construction and repair activities, including demolition, material handling, basic carpentry, fixture installation, site cleanup, and routine home maintenance. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions while contributing to a safe, efficient, and professional work environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of residential remodeling tasks, including demolition, framing, drywall installation/repair, painting, flooring, and finish carpentry.
- Assist with general maintenance duties such as minor plumbing repairs, electrical fixture replacements, HVAC filter changes, and routine property upkeep.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support foreman or lead technician with project setup, measurements, material handling, and site cleanup.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or potential hazards.
- Follow project plans, specifications, and instructions to complete daily tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and debris as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and, when necessary, homeowners to maintain a professional work environment.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA guidelines at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, residential remodeling, or property maintenance.
- Basic understanding of carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and contribute positively to a team.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but a Plus)
- Certifications in OSHA 10/30 or other related safety training.
- Trade-related certifications in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
- Experience with residential renovation projects or property management maintenance.
- Ability to read basic blueprints, measurements, and work orders.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Bilingual abilities.

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
