First Shift Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm

Compensation: $28-$32 per hour

About The Job:

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for a Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing team. Our client is a leading North American manufacturer of high-quality, durable industrial and storage products used across a variety of industries. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment such as control panels, compressors, ovens, bearings, drives, and HVAC units.
• Weld, cut, and grind metal for mold and machine repairs.
• Build and remodel equipment for manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and requisitions.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following company and OSHA safety guidelines.
• Support operational teams with technical assistance and problem-solving.
• Perform additional maintenance and repair tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (education or equivalent training considered).
• Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
• Journeyman's card in Electrical or Mechanical trades a plus.
• Experience with rotational molding or plastics manufacturing a plus.
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Forklift and scissor lift certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot, humid environments.
