Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role located in Ellijay, GA. The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient-centered care, including assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of conditions. Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with physicians and exercise physiologists to create integrated wellness programs for patients. The role also involves educating patients on disease prevention and supporting them in achieving their health and wellness goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Ability to prescribe medications and effectively manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases
• Strong communication skills to educate and counsel patients on wellness and disease prevention
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including Exercise Physiologists and other healthcare staff
• Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification and a valid state license
• Experience in preventive care, wellness programs, or related fields is a plus
