CDL Class A Driver/Laborer

Job Overview
Bright Lighting, Inc dba BL Construction is seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently to various job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Ability to drive and operate a 10 wheeler dump truck
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, using manual transmission to navigate various terrain
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Treat company tools and equipment with good care keeping.
• Receive and follow direction of crew chief.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations and company policies.
• May need to stay overnight if sight is out of town. Hotel provided and $55/night perdiem

Skills

• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Possess a valid CDL Class A
• Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges that arise during transportation.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to operate different types of trucks
• Attention to detail in maintaining vehicle records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $27.00 per hour
