Be part of a 75-person shop equipped with 12 machines, including turning centers with live tooling and 3-4 axis mills. This role offers the chance to master Esprit software, a new addition to the shop.

As a CNC professional, you will be responsible for optimizing CNC machine performance and ensuring the production of high-quality parts. Your expertise will drive efficiency and contribute to the company's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Maximize CNC machine efficiency through setup, operation, and program adjustments.
• Ensure part quality by performing first article inspections.
• Develop CNC programs to meet production needs.
• Provide support across various shop functions as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC machine setup and operation, including milling centers and/or live tooling.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings (including GD&T) and following verbal instructions.
• Solid understanding of G-Code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience training and mentoring operators and other machinists on CNC machines.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc controllers.
• Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Ability to fabricate and modify specialized tooling for complex parts.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
