POSITION SUMMARY: The Card Program Auditor is responsible for establishing and maintaining audit rules within the corporate card expense system to identify policy violations and suspicious activities. This position conducts detailed reviews of flagged transactions across Travel and Entertainment (T&E) and Procurement (pCard) programs, investigates discrepancies, escalates potential misuse, and ensures overall compliance with company expense policies. The Card Program Auditor plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the company's corporate card programs through consistent monitoring and enforcement of policy guidelines.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and audits Travel and Entertainment (T&E) and Procurement (pCard) transactions for compliance with company expense policies.
- Establishes, maintains, and refines audit rules within the expense system to effectively identify policy violations.
- Applies established audit rules to flag suspicious or non-compliant expense transactions.
- Takes action to notify appropriate personnel when policy violations or misuse is suspected.
- Verifies transactions comply with standard operating procedures and applicable regulations.
- Ensures compliance with all internal processes and policies.
- Educates stakeholders to ensure compliance with corporate card usage standards.
- Partners with department management to report audit findings and/or process improvements.
- Produces and distributes reports for management as required.
- Maintains a daily log of transactions reviewed and audited.
- Ensures invoices are posted in a timely manner.
- Maintains a positive customer service experience in all interactions with cardholders, operations, procurement, and all other internal departments.
- Performs and manages special projects and analysis.
- Works with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance of established controls.
- Assists with the administration of card program functions including new card issuance, changes to existing card holder limits, and MCC code permissions as needed.
- Assists with the process of turning off cards held by terminated employees.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion (preferred)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience, including electronic processing.
