Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport various materials to various job sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route efficiency, and proper handling of freight. Candidates with a background in truck driving, mainly Tri-Axle trucks, are encouraged to apply. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record and familiarity with manual and automatic transmissions are essential for success in this position. Candidates must be open to weekend work. Work is year round.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials efficiently and safely.
• Follow designated routes and schedules, maintaining timely deliveries across various locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with freight, load & unload operations, and route driving.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission trucks confidently.
• Familiarity with different types of trucks such as trailers and dump trucks.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.
• Excellent navigation skills with the ability to follow detailed routes and schedules accurately.
• Good physical condition to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
• Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements. This position offers an opportunity for skilled drivers to contribute to our logistics operations while ensuring safety and efficiency on every trip.

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week

Work Location: In person
