We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our finance operations and grow with the company.Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle Accounts Payable for two locations
• Match invoices to packing slips, verify GL coding, obtain approvals, and enter into QuickBooks
• Prepare and submit cheques according to due dates
• Assist in payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now on a semi-monthly basis, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
• Handle HST remittance filings and ensure compliance with all reporting deadlines
• Analyze debit/credit transactions and provide financial insights
• Support data migration, reporting, and analysis related to our club membership operating system
• Assist with financial reporting, account reconciliation, and monthly close processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks, ADP Workforce Now, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Solid understanding of HST remittance procedures
• Experience working with or supporting a club membership operating system
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience in financial analysis and generating reports from databases
• Experience in Payroll processing
