Role Description

This is an unpaid 6 month internship opportunity for an AI/ML Developer Intern specializing in Healthcare AI. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and AI algorithms tailored for healthcare applications. Responsibilities include researching, developing, and testing solutions in areas such as natural language processing, pattern recognition, and neural networks. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to contribute to innovative AI solutions that align with healthcare objectives. This is a remote role.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks with experience applying these concepts to real-world problems
• Background in Computer Science and Software Development with proficiency in Python and Azure.
• Experience or knowledge in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and its applications
• Experience in working with clinical datasets.
• Experience working with APIs, LLMs, databases, or data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with a team remotely
• Familiarity with healthcare-specific AI challenges or datasets is a plus
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
