Position Overview

Bug Bully Pest Control is growing—and we're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Customer Care Specialist to join our team This is a dual-role position that blends creative marketing tasks with efficient scheduling support. You'll play a key part in helping us grow our brand, keep our operations running smoothly, and deliver a top-tier customer experience. *Pest Control and/or FieldRoutes experience is a plus*

This role is perfect for someone who's organized, proactive, and excited about helping a small, local business thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer customer calls and schedule service visits
  • Manage and update social media platforms and website content
  • Track marketing performance and provide reports/insights
  • Coordinate with vendors for marketing materials and events
  • Build partnerships with local businesses and community organizations
  • Help generate leads through smart, targeted marketing strategies

Scheduling Duties

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to online service inquiries with professionalism and care
  • Schedule and confirm service appointments for new and existing customers
  • Optimize daily technician routes for efficiency and timeliness
  • Communicate appointment details clearly to both customers and team members
  • Adjust schedules for cancellations or last-minute changes
  • Keep accurate customer and service records in our CRM system

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred)
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, customer service, or scheduling (service industry experience is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with basic digital marketing tools
  • Experience with CRM or scheduling software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.) is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills
  • Friendly, team-oriented, and proactive attitude
