Job Summary
The Front Office Medical Receptionist/Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the medical office, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellent patient care. This role involves overseeing administrative tasks, patient scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate health records while supporting physicians, clinical staff, and patients. Fluency in Vietnamese is required.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Front Desk

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Answer and route phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly.
  • Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.
  • Register new patients, verify demographics, and maintain accurate files.

Patient Records & Documentation

  • Manage and update Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR).
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain medical charts, forms, and reports.
  • Process requests for medical records, referrals, and authorizations.

Billing & Insurance

  • Verify insurance eligibility and patient coverage.
  • Collect co-pays, process billing, and manage patient balances.
