General Summary

Responsible for monitoring and analyzing production line chemistries, ensuring proper chemical levels, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. This role includes oversight of waste treatment operations and adherence to ISO and hazardous waste regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Test and analyze chemistries for cleaners, chrome tanks, rinse tanks, and R.O. system at scheduled intervals.

• Maintain proper chemical levels and ensure compliance with ISO, quality, and hazardous waste standards.

• Operate and monitor waste treatment processes; perform preventative maintenance on related equipment.

• Track chemical usage via computer or manual systems; train staff assisting with operations.

• Follow all safety and housekeeping standards, including proper PPE use and chemical storage practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in chemical operations or similar role.

• Ability to follow instructions, perform basic math, and communicate effectively.

• Knowledge of chemical operating procedures, hazardous waste handling, and safety standards.

• Proficient in computer systems for process control and SPC; experience with material handling equipment.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
