We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of host experience in a high-volume restaurant setting. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and courteously upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using our reservation system.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized host/hostess station and lobby area.
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed.
• Be presentable and comply with all restaurant uniform and code of ethics policies
• Comply with Federal, State, and City safety and sanitation requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a host/hostess in a high-volume restaurant.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with reservation management systems is a plus.
