Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare outgoing shipments for various carriers.
- Accurate creation and verification of shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintain detailed records of all shipments.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing packages.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Proper use and maintenance of shipping equipment.
- Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory control and stock management as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area to promote efficiency and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of shipping procedures and logistics.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Proficiency in using computers and shipping software.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
