Our Distribution Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to support our growing logistics operations. This role is multifaceted, involving various tasks essential to the smooth functioning of our warehouse. You will be involved in receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. Accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to safety are paramount. We provide comprehensive training, including thorough instruction on safety protocols and the mandatory use of appropriate PPE, to ensure a secure and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using scanners and pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided for qualified candidates).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physical duties, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
