The scope of work includes overseeing various operational tasks, some of which may involve managing activities related to moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities and staff performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse operational procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse associates.
- Manage scheduling and workload distribution for the team.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of Safety and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, Safety protocols, and logistics best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring PPE usage.
- Ability to manage operations that may involve moderate Lifting.
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in conflict resolution and performance management.
