We are looking for Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is critical for our logistics operations, focusing on accurately fulfilling customer orders. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Select items from warehouse inventory according to order specifications.
- Pack items safely and efficiently into shipping cartons.
- Verify accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Utilize warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics principles.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Must wear required PPE.
