Join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as a Material Handler! This position is vital for the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing directly to our overall logistics efficiency. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and arranging inventory. Tasks include loading and unloading materials, operating manual pallet jacks, and ensuring materials are organized and accessible. A strong commitment to safety is required, with adherence to all established procedures and the correct use of PPE . This role involves considerable physical exertion, including frequent lifting and maneuvering of materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Load outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock in designated areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear assigned PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
