We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in San Jose, California. This crucial role ensures the accurate and efficient intake of all incoming goods into our **Logistics** network. You will be responsible for unloading shipments, verifying product counts against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and properly documenting all received items. Maintaining a clean and safe receiving area is also a key responsibility. Your diligence in this position directly impacts inventory accuracy and the overall efficiency of our supply chain. We emphasize strict adherence to **Safety** protocols and proper handling procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified).
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect all incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies.
- Document received items accurately in the inventory management system.
- Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Stage incoming goods for internal
