We are hiring an Order Picker in the vibrant city of Virginia Beach, Virginia! If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy working in an active environment, this role is perfect for you. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders by accurately selecting and preparing items for shipment. Your responsibilities will include reading pick lists, locating products within the warehouse, and ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected. Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of your assigned picking zones is crucial for efficiency and safety. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace safety, and all employees are required to use the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures. This role involves significant walking and standing for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is beneficial. You will work closely with other team members to ensure order accuracy and timely dispatch.
