Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a stable and rewarding opportunity? Our distribution center in Phoenix, Arizona, is hiring! We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. You will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This role is essential for efficient warehouse operations and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to Safety. Your role will directly impact our Logistics flow and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers according to established procedures.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper placement and stability.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
- Follow all Lifting requirements and best practices to prevent injuries.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to read and understand WMS screens, labels, and shipping documents.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
