Join our thriving logistics hub in Jacksonville, Florida, as an Inventory Clerk! We are looking for an organized and proactive individual to assist in maintaining the accuracy and flow of inventory within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and accurately recording inventory data into our system. You will also be responsible for stocking shelves, organizing warehouse space, and assisting with order picking and packing as needed. A critical part of this role involves participating in cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong data entry skills, a good understanding of warehouse operations, and a commitment to following established procedures. Safety is paramount in our facility, so all employees must adhere to safety guidelines and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves regular lifting of items, with some tasks requiring the movement of up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory.
- Accurately record inventory data using WMS.
- Organize and maintain stockroom inventory.
- Assist with put-away and replenishment of stock.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Support picking and packing operations as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in inventory management or a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
