We are hiring a reliable Warehouse Worker for our facility in Detroit, Michigan . In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your contribution is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our logistics department. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety regulations and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE at all times during work activities.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles is a plus.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Good communication skills.
