We are seeking reliable and diligent Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving the handling, storage, and shipment of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will contribute to our logistics network by ensuring that orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Key responsibilities include receiving inventory, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. Safety is a top priority, and all associates are expected to adhere to stringent safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory within the distribution center using established methods.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using handheld scanners or other devices.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure product safety during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods, bending, and lifting.
- Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Understanding of basic safety principles in a warehouse setting.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
