Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced distribution center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for efficient and detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of our inventory. You will work with modern warehouse technology and collaborate with a dedicated team to meet daily order fulfillment goals. A strong commitment to safety and accuracy is crucial. You must be able to follow instructions precisely and adhere to all company safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations and develop valuable skills in warehousing.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
  • Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Verify order accuracy before packing and dispatch.
  • Operate handheld scanners and other warehouse technology.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
  • Identify and report any damaged products or discrepancies.
  • Load and unload packages from conveyor belts and other equipment.
  • Support the overall logistics and shipping process.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic math skills for order verification.
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
